Bond star Daniel Craig is to receive the top honour at the BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards later this year.
The 44-year-old actor has been named British Artist of the Year by the Los Angeles branch of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and will pick up his award during the annual gala in November, reported Daily Star.
'Kill Bill' moviemaker Quentin Tarantino will also be feted at the ceremony after being named the recipient of the John Schlesinger Award for excellence in directing, and 'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will receive the Charlie Chaplin Award for excellence in comedy.
