Micheal Jackson's teenage daughter Paris says her father made them wear a mask in public because he wanted them to have a normal and better childhood which he lacked
The 14-year-old said she was initially confused about wearing a mask whenever out with Jackson but now understands that her father was only trying to protect them, a website reported.

"I was really confused. I didn't get why I was wearing a mask. But I understand it now why my dad would want our faces to be covered. When we went out without him we wouldn't be recognized. The mask-wearing has helped me and my brothers to live a normal childhood," Paris told Oprah Winfrey.
"He told us that when he was younger he didn't really have a childhood. He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that. We could go to our favorite places without any hassles," she explained to Oprah during the interview.u00a0
