Javier Bardem has revealed that he had watched Sean Connery play 007 as a kid - but he never thought he'd be in Bond movie too.
The rugged Spanish actor plays vengeful villain Raoul Silva in the 23rd official Bond movie, Skyfall, which is out on Friday.u00a0“I’m a huge fan of the James Bond saga, so I was always very open to the idea. When I was little I watched Mr Connery doing James Bond with my father,” the Sun quoted Javier as saying.

“Who in the world would think I’d be in one of those movies?” he stated.u00a0Javier loves being an actor so much he insisted that he will never give it up.u00a0“I will never retire because I love acting and I hope to be a very, very old actor. My wish is to die on the job,” the actor stated.
It is because of his career that he met his wife, Penelope Cruz, with whom he co-starred in ‘Jamon Jamon’ in 1992, then again on ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ in 2008. u00a0The couple, who married two years ago, live in Spain with their one-year-old son Leo.
