Pop diva Mariah Carey has penned an inspirational song to support US President Barack Obama in his re-election campaign.
The R&B superstar debuted the ballad, titled 'Bring It on Home', on Thursday as she performed at a special fundraiser for the Democrat at a hotel here, reported New York Post.

Carey, who backed Obama in the 2008 election as well, took to her twitter page after the bash and said, "Just finished performing 'Hero', 'We Belong Together' and 'Bring It On Home' - a song I wrote especially for the event."
The Plaza Hotel party took place hours after Obama mingled with guests at actress Sarah Jessica Parker's house for another political fundraiser, which was co-hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour and attended by Aretha Franklin and Meryl Streep.
