Shocker: Amy Winehouse's house burgled

Death, grief and shock seem to be in store for Amy Winehouse's family, with reports claiming some of the late singer's personal belongings have been stolen from her home in Camden Square, North London.

Her father Mitch Winehouse believes that one of her associates has taken the items, which apparently includes copies of unreleased songs, lyric books and letters.

"This is such a sickening shock to the family. That someone would stoop so low. They can't get their heads around it," the Sun quoted a member of Winehouse's circle as saying.

"Mitch is livid. The family, record label and management are months away from deciding what to do with any unreleased music.

"For that to be taken out of their hands is horrible," the member said.

Nearly 20 peopleu00a0-- including family, friends, security and police have had access to the home since the 'Rehab' singer's untimely death.

At the moment only two lyric books, Winehouse's favourite guitar and lyrics scribbled for her third album have been reported unaccounted.

Mitch, who is on a family vacation to overcome the loss, has declared he will root out the culprit if not returned the stolen items.

"Mitch is willing to give whoever has stolen the items a chance to do the right thing and put them back so it doesn't have to get messy," a source said.
