Actor Kristen Bell shared that she did not want her daughters to be actors. During the opening night of 'Reefer Madness: The Musical' at The Whitley in Los Angeles, she opened up about her daughters joining the industry, reported People.

When asked how she would feel if her daughters -- Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 8, whom she shares with husband Dax Shepard, 49 -- followed in their mom's footsteps, Bell shared that it was Shepard who influenced her to keep an open mind.

"You know it's interesting, when I first thought about it, I thought, 'Oh, I don't want them to be actors. There's too much rejection,' said the 'Frozen' star.

"Then my husband said, 'Wait, do you like your life? Do you have fun? Are you overpaid? Do you get to be creative every day?' I said, 'Yeah.' He said, 'Why would you not want that for your kids?'"

"I would just say, 'There's a lot of rejection, but brush it off because if you're doing what you love, something will find you,'" added Bell.

Bell shared that performing in the classic musical 24 years ago led to the start of her family.

"We were in tech on September 11th and we were below 14th Street. So we had an extreme experience together where we kind of had to cradle each other," Bell said. "And this was the cast and crew, the people of my life that encouraged me to move to Los Angeles."

The 'Reefer Madness: The Musical' producer continued, "And looking back, if I hadn't have had them... I never would've met my husband, which means I never would've had my kids. I never would've really touched any of the projects I touched out here. So I attribute so much of my life to this cast and crew and this loving environment that I experienced in New York," reported People.
