Basking in reflected glory

A phrase from the popular song, Kunidhu Kunidhu Baare, in the blockbuster hit Mungaru Male has inspired first-time director T N Nagesh. He has titled his debut venture, Olave Vismaya (Love is a wondrous thing). Newbies Dharma Keerthiraj and rotund beauty Pratibha Rani play the lead roles in this film.

The script is based on Olavu Seladha Hadiyalli, a 30-minute short film for television, which Nagesh had made in the 1990s. Olave Vismaya is the same story with a few cosmetic changes, admits the director.

The film will be shot in Bangalore, Mercara, Shimoga and Chickmagalur for 45 days. Basavaraja Sooleripalya, known for his beautiful lyrics, has written the dialogues for this film.
