'Mahanadi' actors Rachana and Jeevan killed in car crash

Kannada actors Rachana and Jeevan, best known for their role in TV serial 'Mahanadi', were killed in road accident after their car collided with a parked truck near Magadi in Karnataka on Thursday night.

Rachana and Jeevan were reportedly on their way to Kukke Subramanaya temple to celebrate actor Karthik's birthday.

Reports indicate the Jeevan was driving the car.

According to a report in Times Of India, four other 'Mahanadi' actors - Ranjith, Eric, Honnesh and Utthamm, were travelling in the same car and sustained minor injuries.

Rachana has also acted in serials like 'Madhubala' and 'Triveni Sangama'.
