Filmmaker Raj Nidimoru and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot on December 1 at the Ling Bhairavi temple inside the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. After their wedding, rumours of Raj Nidimoru`s marital status with ex-wife Shhyamali De surfaced on social media. The two have never confirmed their divorce even though several reports claimed that they ended their marriage in 2022. The couple had tied the knot in 2015. However, Shhyamali`s last post for Raj was in 2023 on the occasion of Valentine`s Day. 

Is Raj still married to first wife Shhyamali? 

After the wedding ceremony of Raj and Samantha, Shhyamali`s friend has claimed that the filmmaker is still married to his first wife. On Monday evening, Shhyamali`s friend Bhavna Tapadia took to her Instagram feed and re-shared a post by De and made a shocking claim with it. Along with the reposted image, she wrote, "To all those who are asking me… last time I checked, she was still married, and the last time was NOW." The photo shows a woman with her eyes closed, adorned with a striking red bindi and a long streak of sindoor.
