The 1989 smash film Siva, directed by Ram Gopal Varma and starring Nagarjuna, will be re-released in theatres on November 14. Chiranjeevi uploaded a video expressing his support for the film and urging RGV to apologise for whatever he has said about the star in the past. Fans were not pleased.

In a video posted by RGV, Chiranjeevi described how astonished he was after seeing Siva for the first time. He complimented Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni for their performances in the film. The actor also remarked that Generation Z should watch Siva, which was considered contemporary at the time. He also applauded RGV`s vision, recalling how he believed RGV would be the future of Telugu cinema.
