The small screen's 'Jodha Akbar' — Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma — have incurred the wrath of the channel folks for participating in a show of a rival channel. The lead actors of the historical did a dance act for the opening ceremony of a box cricket league of another entertainment channel.

A source says, "As Ekta Kapoor is the producer of 'Jodha Akbar', she got the actors to perform for the box cricket tourney, which is also her production. When the channel got to know about it, they were upset."


The source adds, "But their act was not based on the royal characters they essay on screen. So there was no reason for any issue."

A unit member however informs, "Rajat and Paridhi never imagined that their dance act would create such an issue. The problem was that they performed in their show's royal costumes which did not go down well with the channel. They were given a warning and told not to repeat it again."

Paridhi denied the buzz saying , "It is not true."

Rajat remained unavailable for comment.

The spokesperson of the channel refused to comment.
