Is Rupesh Kataria facing pay cut for turning up late on sets?

TV actor Rupesh Kataria is allegedly facing a fee cut for always turning up late on the sets on the sets of 'Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Ye'

If the buzz is to be believed, TV actor Rupesh Kataria, who appears on 'Ajeeb Daastaan Hain Ye', is paying a price — literally — for his apparent late lateef attitude. The makers of this three-month-old show have supposedly decided to deduct his fee for being unpunctual.

Says a source, "Rupesh has been coming late despite the director's repeated requests to turn up on time. So, now instead of firing him from the show, the director and the producers have decided to enforce a pay cut to bring him back on track."

A unit hand says: "His unpunctual ways had been affecting the shoot and the plan to deduct his fees was inevitable. The actor was asked to sign a letter related to the same as a precautionary measure."

Show producer Ekta Kapoor remained unavailable for comment.
