Anita Hassanandani on 25 years
Anita Hassanandani is one of the most loved actresses of telly town. She has left an indelible mark with her impactful roles in Kkavyanjali, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Naagin, and most recently, Suman Indori. She is set to explore a new realm with Zee TV`s reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, where the actresses will ditch urban comfort and indulge in household chores, exploring rural life. Ahead of the show, Anita exclusively spoke to us about the concept, the possibility of doing Bigg Boss, and completing 25 years in the industry.
When asked about the reason behind taking up this show, the Naagin actress answers, “Chhoriyan Chali Gaon felt different from anything I’ve done before. The concept was fresh—women stepping out of their comfort zones and adapting to a completely different lifestyle. So yes, I am overwhelmed but really excited as well. It’s something I’ve never explored, and that’s what makes it special. Basically, we have to unlearn our glam city habits and adapt to that village life entirely. Yes, I am nervous for sure. I have seen how mentally and physically draining reality shows can be. But I`ve always believed in stepping out of my comfort zone once in a while.”
