Television's iconic comedy show – Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) will complete a remarkable 3100 episodes this evening of February 11, 2021. The much-loved television serial is in its 13th year of uninterrupted run. The show’s success is attributed to its close connection with the Indian society which it represents through its storyline and its characters. No wonder, the show’s Gokuldhaam Society which has become a landmark by itself, is often referred to as ‘Mini India’.


Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah aired for the first time on July 28, 2008 and was telecast on SAB TV, Sony Pictures Network India. “I thank Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's audiences, fans and its supporters for their love and support through all these years. We completed 3000 happysodes on 24th September 2020 which was right after the lockdown was lifted and it feels like within no time we are about to complete another 100!
