Even as Abhishek Bachchan's fans look forward to the second season of Breathe that marks his digital debut, there has been a development with regard to the crime thriller. Buzz is that the top brass of Amazon Prime Video have sanctioned three more seasons of the web series.

A source tells mid-day, "In Breathe 2, Amit Sadh will be seen reprising his role of Kabir Sawant as he investigates a new case. The producers want to continue the format in the upcoming seasons, where Amit's cop character will be seen solving new cases, and a new star will be roped in for each instalment. It is heard that the head honchos of the streaming platform have given the go-ahead to the narrative style. Now, the creative team is hard at work, developing the material for the upcoming editions." The first season that dropped in 2018 featured R Madhavan alongside Sadh.
