Spotlight on heritage
8 am: Get into patriotic spirit this Republic Day with a cycling tour offered by Raconteur Walks. Accompanied by a tour guide, revisit some of the oldest architectural marvels in South Mumbai that strike a chord for their historic legacy and tryst with the city. Besides, you will also be regaled with stories and anecdotes of old-time Mumbai, during the days of the Raj. A musical at the airport
8 am to 10 am Build the patriotic fervour with the artists of National Streets for Performing Arts (NSPA) who will be hoisting the flag outside the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. A special instrumental version of the National Anthem has also been planned for the event. Participating artistes include Suresh Kala, Achchhai Pandey, Saurabh Sharma, Manoj Sharma, Manoj Pandya and Avinash Lamba.
