The current situation of employment is worse than ever. We are seeing people losing their long-term jobs amid COVID-19. People are raging against corporate forced resignations. COVID-19 is a significant danger factor for both health and employment hazards.

Reports about poor livelihood during COVID are increasing day by day. Majority of Job aspirants are stressed out of their resignations because companies that laid them off were once their career path.

Students' inclination towards Governments jobs is increasing every day. They are now admitting the benefits of Governments jobs such as job security. Majorly, the students are much more motivated for acquiring a govt job anyhow.

Sarkarijobs.com, in a recent study, analysed how major recruitment boards are planning of providing more recruitment during and after the COVID-19 scenarios

UPSC:

Because of COVID-19, many recruitment boards have re-visited their schedules during 2020. UPSC has deferred the preliminary examination of civil services. Only large banks saw no major changes in its recruitment schedule.

SSC:

Staff Selection Commission is conducting examinations for different central government positions. In addition to this, the trial of different Public Service Commissions is also estimated to be planned soon. Changes in recruitments are expected to take place in upcoming month!

IBPS:

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has brought the conclusive results of certain examinations which were conducted a year ago. IBPS is has provided information regarding the postponement of results due to COVID-19. Schedules for results announcements are also changing from time to time.

Civil Services Examinations:

More than five lakh candidates applied for last year's Civil Services Examinations (CSE). More than 800 positions were expected to be filled by new professionals which were comprised of IAS and IPS positions too! What is the future scene of Indian Governments jobs? This question is daunting for anyone willing to choose a Government Job as a career.

What is expected from Government?

Many state governments are aiming at launching a special programme to bring together job aspirants and prospective employers to generate more recruitment opportunities. In the wake of the Coronavirus lockdown both the central and states governments are trying to do their part in the employment generation process.

The Delhi AAP government is proposed to come out with a series of reforms to renew the Delhi's Economy which is devastated because of the Coronavirus Lockdown. The vacancies which were postponed earlier are expected to be advertised again.

Students Meanwhile:

Many lost their jobs during the pandemic and many lost hopes for anything good in the terms of better employment. But what isn't affected much is the motivation of the Government jobs aspirants. Students are making efforts day and night to prepare for the upcoming recruitment.

They know that it is going to get tougher for competitive examinations after the pandemic. The private jobholders who are laid off during the COVID are also in the race of acquiring a secure govt job.

In Summary

COVID has been destroying health and economies from the very first day. Millions lost their lives and jobs. But life goes on and so are the future propensities. What else could be the dream of a common man amid COVID-19 except for a secure permanent job?

Many are losing hopes for life while others are thinking of this dark era of COVID pandemic as a golden opportunity to work on themselves and their dreams. Only hopeful is Government Jobs! State and Central governments are under pressure to bring recruitment and students meanwhile are ready for the rat race following the 'survival of the fittest' rule of nature.
