<p><strong>GAMES</strong><br /><strong>Dhamakedaar musical chairs</strong><br />Musical Chairs with a twist — play musical chairs like you do normally, except you place a chit with firecracker names on each chair (example: sparklers). There needs to be another bowl with chits with the same firecrackers named on them. Play musical chairs and then the eliminated person goes ahead and picks a chit from the bowl and reads out the firecracker name. The person with the same firecracker named chit who sat on the chair also gets eliminated, thus having two eliminations every round. The last person left is the winner!</p>
<p><strong>Pictionary gets lit</strong><br />Create a list of words or phrases related to Diwali like rangoli, sweets, gifts, pooja thali, or you could even think of Bollywood movies or scenes centered around Diwali. Next, you form teams and a person from each team takes out a chit containing one of these words or phrases. The same team tries to guess what the person got in their chit. Points can be awarded for correct guesses and the team with the most points wins.</p>
<p><strong>Fun on a treasure hunt</strong><br />Hide a bunch of Diwali-related items like mini diyas, rangoli packets, candles, or sweets around the place. Provide Diwali-themed riddles or puzzles that can give the players clues for the hidden items and their locations. The person that finds most of the items and gets to the grand prize first wins!
