Get high on bhaang
March 13, 11 AM to 3.30 PM: No Holi celebration is complete without bhaang. Restaurant 29 is offering free bhaang to all its patrons after playing holi. It's prepared on the lines of the authentic Banarasi ones, complete with gulkandh, mint leaves, bhang ka patta, pistachio, elaichi and milk. You can also try the Muli ka Laccha from Agra, Soya Chap from Haryani, Kaachi Haldi Ki Sabji aur Tukkad from Manipur, Doodh ka Farha from Bihar.

Play safe
Ongoing: You certainly don't want to suffer skin rashes and health problems after playing holi. Hypercity is offering gel-based holi colours in stores for a buy one-get one for Rs 120. Gel-based colours are soft on skin, easy to wash-off, and cannot be inhaled like powder colours. Also get 50 per cent on holi accessories like water guns, pumps and water tanks.

Attend a Holi art fest
March 13: If the Holi scene in Mumbai doesn't excite you, head to Kamshet for the Organic Art Holi at the Appa Art Fest that will take place over five days during the Holi Weekend (expect a mind-boggling art friendly Holi party too). Curated and conceptualized by graphic designer Karthikeyan Ramachandran, the fest will bring together 70 Indian and British artists who will explore the artistic timeline from 1947 to 2017, with each artist representing a particular year.
