One always wishes for kitchen appliances that make cooking easier, especially before leaving for work. Here are a few appliances that will assist you in the kitchen and help make tasty, healthy and, most of all, quick meals.
Philips Air Fryer:
Cooking in front of a burning stove in the middle of summer is my least favourite idea, but if the kids want fries, they want fries. Philips Air Fryer uses rapid air technology to fry food, resulting in food that is crispy and almost oil free. You can fry, roast, grill and bake without having to spend a single minute in the heat.
This new-age technology uses air to cook food and all you need to do is brush the surface of the food with oil. Put the food in the fryer, set the heating and the timer according to the food that is being cooked and then, go read a book till you hear the sound of the beeper, indicating that food is ready. The fryer comes with its own recipe book which explains the time, heat settings for frying, grilling and so on.

Crock-Pot Slow Cooker:
Your kitchen gadgets can also prepare a meal for you while you’re sleeping or at work. Crock-Pot’s programmable slow cookers can be set to start cooking at a pre-set time. The cooker works till the cycle is over and keeps the food warm, without burning it.
All you need to do is put the ingredients in the pot, program it to start cooking at a certain time and the cooker will do the rest. This allows you to control the cooking through an app on your phone, set start/stop timings and monitor the cooking.

Rollie Eggmaster Vertical Grill:
Rollie’s vertical cooking technology combines a cylindrical non-stick cooking surface with great heating elements. The Egg Master puts an end to labourious tasks like poaching, frying and scrambling an egg.
Instead, all you have to do is crack the egg, add condiments like sausages, coriander, tomato or chilies and pour it into the non stick cylinder. It can also be used to make items like fajita rolls.

Android water-proof tablets:
The basis of good cooking is good recipes. Everybody wants to experiment with different cuisines, recipes and a wide variety of ingredients.
The internet is, no doubt, the best source for free recipes but imagine carrying your smartphone or tablet to the kitchen, where you may drop something on it? Android water-proof tablets like Sony’s Xperia Z2 remedies the situation with its 10.1” Triluminous LCD screen, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage with a slot for micro SD card. And above all, it is water resistant. So go ahead — read the recipes, get cooking, click pictures of either yourself or the prepared dishes with this 2 MP front facing camera or the 8 MP autofocus camera.

Blendtec mix and blend II:
Your snacks were made in the fryer and the main course in the slow cooker, but now you need to think of those milkshakes, smoothies and, for an Indian household, kneading the dough for the rotis. The 1,000 watts motor of Mix And Blend II is designed to mix, blend, whip and knead.
It has pre-programmed five automatic mixing cycles and eight automatic blending cycles, so all you have to do is put the ingredients in it, put the lid and select the cycle from the onboard touchpad controls and let the blades do their job. The automatic cycles allow the blender to speed up and slow down during a timed cycle and move/shift/drop the food into the surface of the blade. When the cycle is complete, the blender stops automatically.
