A group of dancers from the Pathfinder Dance Group will try connectig the north and the south through their Bharatnatyam performance

A powerful dance performance, to be held at the Tilak Smarak Mandir this Saturday, will showcase the joy and beauty of Bharatnatyam. Six students, along with their teacher Madhura Khire will present Tillanas and Taranas in dance. "While Tarana represents North Indian or Hindustani music which will be played on Sitar, Tillana represents South Indian music which will be presented through Bharatnatyam," explains Madhura Khire, who is the disciple of renowned dancer Dr Sucheta Chapekar.
