Dance the night away at Area 51, as electronic band Midival Punditz promises to give you a rocking high-energy DJ set
India's most sought after electronic band Midival Punditz is all set to perform a set tonight at Area 51. Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj are sure to make you dance the night away.

Speaking about the performance and what they have in store for Pune, Tapan Raj shares, "Since it is a club and a DJ night, we will be playing high-energy dance music. We will play a mix of some of our unreleased music from our upcoming album and some new remixes that we have made for other music producers.
For our DJ sets, we don't usually prepare a pre-set, just a collection of 80 to 100 songs, and depending on the crowd and energy, we plan the vibe and the set."
The trio -- Gaurav Raina, Tapan Raj and Karsh Kale -- forayed into mainstream Bollywood music last year, when they composed the original background score for the Farhan Akhtar-starrer Karthik Calling Karthik.
They quickly followed that up with composing for the award-winning international film, Ashes and then the Bollywood film, Dum Maaro Dum in April this year.
So, do we get to hear something from their recent films? "We may play tracks like Atomizer from our last album and Hello Hello that also features in a film titled Soundtrack. The filmu00a0 has been inspired by the award-winning independent cult film It's All Gone Pete Tong and is an official remake of the film," says Raj.
