How often have we rued the lack of opportunity and professional exposure while we are still studying? Often you would say. Now with students working and studying simultaneously, there is an increasing trend of professional qualified leaders at a very young age. Organisations like AIESEC help you bridge the gap between personal and professional qualification. Here's how. 
AIESEC has constantly been striving towards its creating, harnessing and developing leaders. The organisation allows students to take up a number of opportunities in the area of their interest. One such opportunity is AIESEC's international internship program, which the organisation runs across its 107 country and 1700-university network.
"At AIESEC, the world's strongest youth run organisation, students have realised that in order to become global leaders, they not only need to think like a global citizen, but also live like one. These students are presented with ample opportunities to grow, develop and hone their entrepreneurial skills, which would help them become global leaders. Being a global organisation, AIESEC members get to interact with the international students on a daily basis. Such interaction really helps us understand global mindsets and cultures and that too from a very early age," says Apoorv Bamba, President of AIESEC in Delhi IIT.
Not only students, but corporate, social enterprises, educational institutes' as well see AIESEC as a huge platform to gain mileage into the youth market. Organisations have the opportunity and access to some of the best manpower through AIESEC's international internship program.
"Going on exchange or an internship is one of the most intense learning experiences. It's given me a lot of practical exposure and a definitive edge over my peers," says Tobias Baseda, who came to India from Germany through AIESEC's Internship Programme.

In the coming month AIESEC in Delhi IIT, a local committee of the organisation in India is hosting a student conference called 'The National Strategic Conference'. More than 250 students from across 20 cities are participating in this conference.
There will be leadership development and skill building sessions by AIESEC partners. Many organisations are partnering with AIESEC for this conference as they see it as an opportunity to strategically brand themselves across students of India.
