Kaleido is a virtual reality-based device that uses Google Cardboard to provide you with an immersive experience unlike any other. "Wear these glasses and walk into a virtual world where choosing between colours and finishes, countertops and flooring options, appliances and accessories is as easy as pie. It’s like having the entire showroom at your beck and call, and the freedom to mix and match options to your heart’s desire," the company said on its website.
The inability of customers to exactly forecast how the final setup will look like was a major pain point for customer when searching for furnishing options, it said in a statement.
"We are using technology to completely revolutionise how people furnish their dream homes and the launch of HomeLane.com. Kaleido is a major milestone in this direction," said Srikanth Iyer, CEO and co-founder of HomeLanec.com.
