Microsoft has finally released the updated version of its latest OS, Windows 8.1, complete with the earlier missing 'Start button', a separate Facebook app along with host of other upgraded features
Earlier version of the Windows 8 operating system received a lot of flak for its complex interface, especially for those using a traditional desktop, as the latest system is more appropriate for tablets.

However, in a bid to retain consumers from switching back to the older version of Windows, Microsoft has tweaked the system to address both the need of the desktop users as well as the touch-screen tablet users.
According to the BBC, the changed Windows 8.1 system is inclusive of the most missed ‘Start button’, also for those who wish to get rid of the tile feature, can switch to the ‘desktop’ mode.
The updated Windows 8.1 system also includes better gesture control, tile sizing option and multiple web browsing simultaneously.
The report added that the update to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8 is free of cost, however, charges will be applicable to those upgrading from older versions. (ANI)
