Lunch goes the Prix Frix way
Here's your chance to sneak out during lunch and head to this Mediterranean eatery for a three course express lunch without feeling the dent in your pockets. Olive Beach is back with their Prix Fixe meal plan. Commonly known as Prefix, a Prix Fixe meal, a European concept is a predetermined set menu usually comprising a three course meal at a much lesser price. Start your meal with entrees like Moroccan Chick Pea and Carrot Salad tossed up with fresh lime juice, roasted cumin and feta, Shrimp Cocktail Salad that comes with lettuce like romaine and iceberg along with poached shrimp, and croutons in a cocktail sauce. For those looking for a wholesome beginning to their meal, the Vegetable and Pumpkin broth ought to do the trick. The Gambas Piccante, prawns saut ufffded in a spicy tomato and cream sauce served with zahttar crisps is an old Olive classic which you can look out for too.u00a0


A Prix Fixe Spread at Olive Beach

For mains, take your pick from pastas like Fusilli with Creamy Mushroom Sauce or Spaghetti in Pink Sauce with Grilled Vegetables or Grilled Chicken Paillard and Pan Seared Basa served with lemon and herbs, mashed potatoes and veggies. The city's highest lounge bar or so claims Skyye bar, has a brand new menu for you to tuck into while you sip on some elaborate cocktails. Take in the magnificent view of the cityscape that this bar offers while you tuck into starters like a mezze platter comprising Hummus, Spanakopita, Shanklish, Toum, Mumhamara, Falafal, Spinach and Cheese or a Zartar Pita Bread steamed platter. If Mediterranean fare is not your favourite bar nibble along with your tipple, then there is Mushroom Chestnut Dimsums, Chicken Dimsums, Steamed Rice Paper Stuffed Rolls stuffed with pork and many more to choose from. Stuffed and Indian
Tattv, the kebabs and grills speciality eatery introduces some unusual Indian dishes as part of its new menu. If you thought baby onions were only meant to be pickled or dunked in sambhar think again. At Tattv, you can gorge on these baby onions in the for of Pyaz Ke Dulmay. These onions are stuffed with mutton mince and then cooked in a tomato gravy. Others unusual bites include Bharwan Guchhi Zaffrani, which are morel mushrooms stuffed with cheese and khoya and cooked in a saffron gravy Kashmiri style, Chaamp-e-Adraki, chicken kababs with a hint of ginger, Salmon Tikka and Kareli Roganjosh, a nalli ( bone) also known as karelli pieces cooked in rogan josh style.

Goa on a platter
The performance space and restaurant has been known for its Goan delights and now they have taken the next step ahead to give you another dash of Goan flavours. The Gourmet Boat, a new weekend special menu put together by Master Chef Rohan D'Souza, who is known to have worked at the Hell's Kitchen's with Michelin star chef Marco Pierre White. Choose from Prawn Balchao Bruschettas, Grilled Lamb Cafreal with Sanna Dumplings and classics like Goan Pork Vindaloo. This menu comes in addition to the existing Goan offerings.
