High Spirits is set to pay tribute to Woodstock, one of the greatest festivals in popular music history
This Friday, get ready for a complete Woodstock experience as High Spirits pays tribute to legendary music fest, Woodstock. A few musicians will come together to recreate the magic that was seen at the Woodstock festival.

Woodstock was a musical festival held in New York in 1969, in which thirty-two acts were performed outdoors in front of 500,000 concert-goers. This festival is regarded as one of the greatest and most pivotal moments in popular music history.
The Who at Woodstock 1969 was named by Time magazine in the top 10 music-festival moments list released in March 2010. Musicians will be paying tribute to The Who among many others this Friday. Catch Aditya Ashok on drums, Kenneth Rebello on Bass, Jarvis Menesez on the keyboard, Vinay Lobo on Guitars/Vocals andu00a0 Eden Shyodhi on vocals belting out your favourites from Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Arlo Guthrie, Janis Joplin and many other icons who contributed to the start of a music and lifestyle revolution.
Vinay Lobo and his friend Pradeep Mathew had organised a Woodstock event in Mumbai last year. "It turned out well, so we send out feelers to other places and we thought why not have one in Pune this year?"u00a0
The group plans to play many of the songs that were played at the original Woodstock event, which went on for 24 hours. "We will play as much as we can cover in that one and a half hour time slot," says Lobo.
u00a0Lobo has performed in Pune a couple of times before. "I remember playing for the Led Zeppelin and Sting tributes in Pune. Besides, I have played some originals here too. We got a great response each time," he signs off.
