Alternate rock band Them Clones is no newbie in the music world. And at their newest show in town they plan to debut two new tracks All About Heartbreak and Jealousy. After ten long years of rocking many a stage, they insist on defining their genre as rock laced with pop melody with an element of rock and roll in it.
The name Them Clones came from the bands attitude of looking at their stage personalities as clones of their selves. Driven by all the hoopla that surrounded the rock n' roll world and themselves, penning their own lyrics led them to charter a path that was thoughtful to confessional, from the assertive to the provocative; but at the same time remained consistent accompanied by tight groove and silken melody.
A five-set ensemble, Them Clones started out in the year 2000 as a local band and shot to fame with the Channel V Launchpad in the year 2005. The line-up has changed twice since its formation and now includes Prithwish Dev on the vocals, Joseph L and Gucci on the guitars, Clarence Gonsalves on bass guitars and Surojit Dev on the drums.
