Hard Rock Cafe is all set to host a performance by moon bean which will perform pop, rock and retro music

Around four years back, a group of young musicians decided to form a band and they called themselves Moon Bean. But because of personal commitments, they took a break for a few months and are now back on the music scene. Their first gig at Hard Rock Cafe tonight promises to be a mixed bag of songs from various genres.

The band members include Sanjeev Pandkar (guitars/vocalist), Bharghav Jangle (guitars/vocals), Sundar Pelapur (bass), Rasika Ajoipkar (vocals), Saurabh Bhalerao (keyboards) and Hrishikesh Jattar (drums and percussion). They make up a group of working professionals and full-time musicians.

They decided to call themselves Moon Bean just to sound different and they play Pop, Rock and Retro sounds. "We will play covers by popular bands such as The Who and Police which youngsters are sure to enjoy,"
said Pandkar. In the past, they have performed numbers by Joni Mitchell, Rolling Stones, Jack Johnson and Cold Play.
