From Beethoven to operas, sit back and soak in as world musicians will come together at a concert to celebrate 50 glorious years of the Bombay Chamber Orchestra.
The Orchestra, which started in 1962, has grown in strength over the years and has enthralled Mumbai’s Western music lovers with over 200 concerts. The orchestra, predominantly comprises of Indian musicians but for the golden jubilee celebrations they have invited talented international musicians to be part of the concerts.u00a0

The Golden Jubilee Concert Series was kicked off last November, followed by another concert in March this year. The concert to be held this Saturday is the third in the series and will feature Beethoven, Frank Liszt and choral works by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and Saint Saens.
The Orchestra is known for its orchestral, chamber and choral works from the vast repertoire of classical music, ranging from the Baroque era, through to the Classic and Romantic periods, to contemporary works.
