Seven, the eatery at the Suryaa, has 'cooked up' a special menu for the World Cup. Go, try!

It'S one thing to cash in on the World Cup fever by naming food on the menu on cricket personalities. It's quite another to actually take time out, research and conceptualise a special menu for the guests of the hotel and others who come by to have a evening of score keeping, chest thumping and great eating. Seven, the Suryaa's famed eatery, has opted for the latter.

The Seven has come up with innovative dishes for the World Cup

The special menu on offer has special names to get you hooked the moment you settle down on your seat and take a look at what's on offer. There's the Sher-e-Bangla named after the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. This is an exclusive sea food collection -- succulent prawn, Tandoori pomfret and Fish tikka.

Bleed blue
But if you want to immerse yourself in the patriotic fervour immediately, go for the Mahi Jhinga. It is named after the captain of the unbeatable team that's making you bleed blue in this season of bat and ball. Like the young captain himself, the dish is red, hot and ferocious with a 'mouth-watering rock lobster'.
How many of us are both Dhoni and Yuvi fans? We know we are. So we tried the dish named after the young loin of punjab, Yuvraj Singh. There's an exclusive preparation combo -- Raan-e-murgh, Malai murgh di seekh and Murgh de parche.u00a0

u00a0If you have put your money on the bowlers, go for Spin up Bhajji, prepared in reverence to the inimitable Harbhajan Singh. Its succulent Lamb kofteh kebab are cooked over charcoal fire. As the action onscreen gets tense, cheer for your team withu00a0 Cheers, a lip-smacking combination of organic black bean chaat canap ufffd.

Ode to the god
How can any cricket menu be complete without the God? So there's the Frittered Master Blaster, a recipe which hails from Maharashtra. It's deep fried broccoli braised with ethnic spices that's breaking the records.
On the whole, the cricket menu at Seven is too good to be missed. So this week as the cricket action hots up, you know where to head to.
