Mani’s Lunch Home

Most eateries open new branches to being in more customers, but Mani’s Lunch Home serves its Onam feast only at their Telang Road outlet. “The meal must be served on a banana leaf, with the end of the leaf on the left hand side. It should be eaten with hands. One has to follow the order of serving the dishes and each preparation is meant to be served on its designated space on the leaf,” says KS Narayanaswamy, proprietor of the 75-year-old eatery. The 23-part feast includes 13 vegetables.
