Nikhil You're Professional Skating Champion, When did u start skating 1st? How did it happen?

It all started with my parents enrolling me for a summer camp. I got on wheels at the age of 5 and since then there's no looking back.

If get a chance will you try making your journey in bollywood?

No, Skating and Bollywood are quite the opposites. I believe in doing something that you're absolutely passionate about and for me it's only been Skating.

You are into sports now became a household name..do u have any  back up plan as well?

I wouldn't call it a back up plan, but I am actively involved in my family business of Real-Estate. So my ultimate goal would be to diversify and expand it, along with Skating.

If someday any movie made on you so which production house u would like to associate with?

There are rumours that Soon you will get into bollywood, is that true?

Waving off these rumours, No. I am not getting into Bollywood. That's something I have not given a thought about yet.

Talking about lockdown how do u practice your Skate, and what are you doing these days?

The lockdown has got us all to take a step back from our routines. But I would say that I am privileged and grateful to my parents for owning the Shivganga Skating Rink which you call my second home. So I spend a lot of my time at the rink, practicing these days.

How difficult/easy was it to get into Sports was there any second thought behind making your career in sports?

There are ups and down in every field. I wouldn't say it was a cakewalk getting into Sports but with the support of my parents and coaches there was never a room for second thoughts.

What is your dream apart from making our country proud which u had done? What is your goal?

Making my country proud was a stepping stone towards my Goal. My ultimate goal is to make every individual person aware and open to this wonderful game. I want to provide en number of opportunities to the the upcoming skating enthusiasts and make sure they continue making our nation proud with this game.

If someday movie made on you which actor can play u well?

It would definitely be Farhan Akhtar. I am completely inspired by versatility.

Where do you see yourself in coming 5 years?

I see myself giving back to the community in every way possible that I can. I want to take Skating take Skating to complete heights and make sure that becomes a household game.
