'I'm stuck in a passive relationship'

Updated on: 08 January,2013 01:57 AM IST  |
Dear Diana |

Dear Diana, I'm a 25-year-old girl working in mass media. I'm stuck in a passive relationship thanks to my dull and overwhelmingly insecure boyfriend.

'I'm stuck in a passive relationship'

But no matter how hard I try, I can’t get out of it because I like the warmth of being in a relationship. This is my third affair in six years and I don’t want to jinx it by breaking up with him. At the same time, I don’t believe I’m very happy in it either. Should I just call it quits and move on in life. What if I end up being single and lonely all over again?

Dear Ruby,
Good heavens! You need to declutter your mind. It appears that you are a serial dater. Instead of believing that your guy is a psycho, look inwards. You are the insecure psycho. You want him and also don’t want him. Make up your mind what kind of guy you need. You have already had a hattrick of affairs, how many more are you looking at. If you think you are in a boring relationship, why don’t you spruce it up? Instead of whining and cribbing, think positive. I am sure it is your attitude that is causing all the mess in your life. You are radiating too much of negativity which will only harm you and no one else.u00a0
