Dear Diana, I'm a 14-year-old studying in class nine. I won't call myself a teacher's pet but one teacher in particular has shown some peculiar interest in me.
He’s young and barely 26. I’m clearly attracted to him but he appears like one of those who would return the favour without hesitation! Last week, after our practical exam, he asked me to stay back and chatted with me. It was like he was taking my interview. I answered honestly and now he even calls me on my cellphone. I’d be lying if say I don’t like him but I’m confused as to what will come out of this relationship, if I go ahead and pursue it.

Dear Kamli,
Kamli don’t be a pagli! You are only 14 and next year you have a board exam coming up. At this age, nothing else should matter to you. This teacher is young, so he is just trying to be friendly with you. There is a decade between you and him. I am sure he has taken up this teaching job as a stop gap agreement. There is no need to antagonise him but you should know where to draw the line. If you show him signs of being available, one thing could lead to another, so be wary. Also, remember if your classmates and other teachers get a whiff of your so-called romance, it will lead you to the principal’s office. I am sure you don’t want to mess up things in the last year of school. u00a0
