Dear Diana, I met with a road accident which kept me bedridden for almost six months. I've been in great pain and my husband has been by my side throughout
But I was shocked by what he told me the other day. He confessed that he had slept with an office colleague while I was in the hospital. He also added that it would never happen again. I’m hurt and I don’t know if I should trust him. He says he’s sorry and that it happened at the heat of the moment. I don’t know if I should divorce him over this. We have been married for more than a decade and he’s always been faithful to me.

Dear Ramba,
He is obviously full of remorse and guilt for what he has done. That’s the reason he told you. Chances are that you may have never found out otherwise. He wants to make amends and has been honest about it. But at the same time it is hard to know the reason he confessed to you. Did he want you to know that because of your health, he now needs someone else? Or, maybe he suspected you already knew about it. Whatever the reasons, it will be difficult to trust him again. Considering your bed ridden for now, just let him be. Let him make amends and realise that he has cheated on you. May be he genuinely wants to make amends, but he has broken the trust. As it is physically you have been broken and now emotionally too! You need to fully recover before you decide your future course of action. u00a0
