The tradition of having a cigarette after sex has been stubbed out with only three percent of people practising in it now, a new poll has revealed
According to the poll, Brits are more likely to reach for their phones, with over a third confessing to an apres-sex text instead.

The survey for ECigaretteDirect.co.uk also found that nearly a quarter of people simply roll over and go to sleep after duvet fun.
“With the growing tendency for people to smoke outside, it seems many couples do not fancy popping out into the cold after romping under the covers,” the Sun quoted a spokesman for the electronic ciggie brand as saying.
The poll also identified that women were the worst offenders for turning to their mobiles after making love, with 43 percent admitting to lying back and thinking of Twitter.
“I don’t know what I would do without my mobile phone and I always check my messages before I go to sleep; even if it is after sex,” one woman who wished to remain anonymous, said.
“I draw the line at texting during the act itself as no matter how inept your lover is in the bedroom, texting while having sex is just plan rude,” she added.
