Check out Ugesh Sarcar’s skills on his website and it sounds like a list out of a resume — mentalism, escapology, seances, tele-kinesis, illusions and of course, street magic.

Calling himself a mystician, Sarcar became a household name thanks to his long-running television show, 3rd Degree. Tonight, he will cast his spell on the city with a new act, Your Mind Is Mine that focuses on mentalism.

However, this performance (ages 13 years and plus) is an invitees-only. “We want to first build a taste for this genre and then open it to all. So far, Indian audiences have been exposed to the age-old form of magic.

This show will give them something different,” clarifies Sarcar. High on theatrics, mystery and humour, the hour-long performance will include reading minds, predicting prophecies and presenting illusions of moving objects.

“I will also demonstrate the presence of spirits, levitation, etc. By the end of the show, the impact is so powerful that you will think if free will actually exists,” claims Sarcar, who will also tour with his show to Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
