While we often look the other way when we spot granola bars, this one enticed us with its cute packaging of an almond and a chocolate bar rowing a boat. Stacked on the shelves at Bombay Salad Co., the granola bars and jars are offerings by The Nuttyway, a venture started by fashion designer-cum-chef Minali Gaba last year. We spotted Mocha Hazelnut, Chocolate Peanut Butter and gluten-free Cinnamon Raisin bars along with Berry Blast Granola Jars.

Piqued by flavours we had only tried in calorie-laden cookies, we picked the gluten-free Chocolate Almond & Sea Salt. The chunky, preservative-free bar was a burst of sweet, nutty and salty flavour with a caramel-chocolate aftertaste. It helped us re-energise after a yoga session. This week, Gaba is also launching vegan bars with dairy-free chocolate, sugar-free cookies bound by almond butter and Goji Cacao Energy Bites for those on a paleo diet. Here’s to a guilt-free treat.
