Take a bite of a dish that has its roots in a movie. The Cuban sandwich at a Lower Parel eatery is inspired by Chef, a 2014 Hollywood comedy about a man who stops working at a restaurant to start his own food truck. Chef Sushil Multani from the city restaurant says that he retained the recipe of the sandwich from the original movie. He adds, “The pork is slow-cooked for five hours. It’s a burst of both flavours and textures. The pork and ham are soft and the bread is crusty. The pickles and mustard it is served with make it a flavour bomb.”
