A shining example of baroque architecture, it's been one of Mumbai's cultural hotspots ever since it was inaugurated in 1916 (barring a 23-year period when it was closed for operations).


Now, participants can undertake a walkthrough of the iconic building. In the process, they will learn more about the venue's heritage and the restoration work that brought it back to life. Curator Asad Lalljee and conservation architect Kruti Garg will also offer insight into the history of opera on the whole.
