Can you finish six titles in 15 days? If you are up for the challenge, become a member of a book club and attend discussions at a popular pub over beer

If you are the kind of person who loves to buy books, arrange them on shelves and read them never, then you definitely need some challenge to keep you on your toes. A book club comes to the rescue where they will send you a curated list of titles, tempt you to read them and then discuss plots and nuances at a session, over beer.
"All our taprooms have a good collection of books, graphic novels, comics, magazines and board games. So, we were looking at doing something interesting with them, and came up with the book club," informs Tresha Guha of Doolally.
A writing workshop in progress
The pub has had its fair share of trial sessions. After hosting several groups who share their love for books, including the broke bibliophiles monthly meet-ups, bring-your-own-book meets and writing workshops with published authors like Meghna Pant and Karishma Attari, it became a routine. "The idea (for these sessions) is simple.
Bibliophiles will bond once a month and have a detailed discussion on the subject and characters of the book," shares Guha.
The fifth bring-your-own-book meet up
This time, however, the process is different. Vivek Tejuja, customer engagement manager (for books) with Flipkart, will moderate the sessions. He has shortlisted the books keeping in mind that participants are comfortable, and part of an experience that is new. For these sessions, the moderator will provide relevant book recommendations
and even rope in authors to participate. So, if you wish to be a part of a brainstorming session and share your literary opinion, all you have to do is get a membership any time this month. The shortlisted books will be delivered to you 15 days before a session, leaving ample time to finish them.
