'Every day should be Women's Day'
Women's Day shouldn't matter. I actually find it insulting that we only get one day in the year. I want every day to be Women's Day. But I use this day to my advantage to make more money.
- Kaneez Surka, stand-up artiste
'Celebrate who we are'
I have mixed thoughts about Women's Day - I feel that we don't need a day, but it is nice because it makes you feel special. It's kind of cute that we still have a day that celebrates us. It's not necessary that this is the only day we need to cherish us. We should celebrate who we are, and what we stand for as women, every day. We need to understand women better. People will become more aware of what we go through if they care to understand us.
- Kanchan Daniel, musician
'We should feel equal every day'
I feel there shouldn't be a need for Women's Day. We should be in a society where every day should feel like we have equal rights, rather than celebrating one special day.
- Pooja Dhingra, chef
