The third edition of a popular comedy hunt is taping the finale at the Royal Opera House

Just too funny

The judges for the previous edition of Comicstaan

Thank God for laughs! It’s such a relief that laughs can drown some of the ills around us. And with a strong dose of laughter, the grand finale of Comicstaan (season 3) is treating us to a “future that looks funny”. The event offers a special opportunity to know inside jokes before the big evening gets screened. How does it work? The whole thing works on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once tickets have been bought, organisers will reach out to attendees and schedule an RTPCR test 48 hours prior to the event. Viewers are eligible to attend the show only if they test negative and are double vaccinated. The entire stretch where upcoming talents in stand-up comedy struggle hard to tickle our funny bones, learn nearly everything from improv to schtick, and win the final honour will be filmed. The audience will therefore be a part of this taping and studio rounds. Comicstaan 3 is also bringing our favourite faces in stand-up comedy together to help newcomers learn from the best and seasoned.

On December 22, 3 pm
