Only the truth


Musical comedy Aaeen tells five stories by five writers, and explores the effect of the  Constitution of India in different spaces. The English-Urdu piece will connect music, movement and interaction.

Salute the divas

Queen of Hearts is a special event dedicated to two divas of Indian cinema who have ruled hearts in the 1960s and ‘70s. Composer Nitin Shankar brings to us an evening of popular songs for veteran actors and dancers Helen and Bindu. The extraordinary duo will be present at the event to share tidbits from their lives and careers in Hindi cinema.

Flea flow fun

Sarod mornings

Morning Raga, an ode to Indian classical music, will witness Ustad Amjad Ali Khan perform along with Satyajit Talwalkar on tabla and Sridhar Parthasarathy on mridangam. The event looks to celebrate Sarod Ghar, a museum that houses rare instruments and photographs of illustrious musicians.

Comedy served up

What more can you ask for if you’re being offered cakes and comedy?  This hilarious show that is going to be Mumbai’s longest running stand-up comedy event will see comics such as Sonali Thakker and Masoom Rajwani among others perform some of their new acts. We hear the cake that will incentivise this laugh riot is a Dutch truffle pastry.
