When India went into lockdown mode, an online learning and collaboration platform, Unlu, was co-founded by Vipul Agrawal, Himanshu Periwal and Anurag Dalia. “Our vision is to empower creators and eventually help them collaborate, increase their quality of work and also monetise their work,” shares Agrawal, co-founder.

For a fellowship programme on screenwriting, they have invited screenwriter Prashant Pandey who has written for films including the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Sarkar Raj, Rann and Rakht Charitra. The interactive session for budding screenwriters will offer fundamental teachings on screenwriting. “Participants can expect to learn the basics including types of screenwriting, writing the pilot, the art of pitching and how to create your own writing Bible. They will also be introduced to the business side of the screenwriting industry,” assures Pandey.
Apart from sharing his stories and learning experiences, participants can engage in a Q&A session where they can raise queries with Pandey about the profession. “I value my lived experiences, both successes, and failures. A writer faces unique workflow issues and creative choices but the core rules and technicalities for different types of work creation remain the same,” shares Pandey. The session will be a demonstration to a three-month screenwriting fellowship programme organised by the platform in collaboration with Pandey.
