Hyderabad: A man who allegedly created a fake Facebook account on his wife's name and posted obscene videos, has been arrested here, police said today.

Annamaraju Venkata Raghavendra Rao, who worked as a software professional, allegedly created a fake Facebook account with his wife's photo and posted videos with a caption which read, "See this video and congratulate me for how I cheat my husband and my family," with her profile account name, according to a police release issued here.
According to the police release, the accused married the woman in November 2011 and has a girl child.
However, due to some family disputes with his wife, he had been staying separately from August 2013, the release stated.
In November 2014, the accused posted two obscene videos in the name of his wife and sent them to all her relatives to tarnish her character as well as tarnish her image, the release said.
On January 9 this year, the woman lodged a complaint at the police cyber crime unit, the statement said.
