The arrested persons identified as Kulwant and D P Singh were employees of Patanjali Food and Herbal Park, a firm run by the trust, where the deceased also worked as an executive supervisor, they said.
On March 30, 35-year-old Anil Yadav was allegedly shot dead by two motorcycle-borne miscreants when he was returning home in Kankhal area here.
However, the alleged shooters hired by the accused have not yet been arrested and hunt is on to nab them, they said.
Kulwant from Saharanpur district and Singh who hails from Hathras district had a tiff with Yadav over duty shifts, police said.
During interrogation, the duo said Yadav employed regional bias while rostering them. Kulwant had asked for a change in shifts but it yielded no result.
The two then hatched a plan to teach Yadav a lesson.
On March 28, Kulwant called his younger brother Amresh and friend Nishant to his house who then shot Yadav on March 30.
A country-made pistol which was used in the crime has been recovered, police said.
