Over a month after 30-year-old Faqrudin Sayyed Ali lost his job following his arrest in a drugs-and-gun planting case, he got it back on Monday. The Shahu Nagar police sent an email to the company where Sayyed was working, mentioning that he was wrongly framed in the case. They further requested the company to give him back his job and position.

Faqrudin was working as a team leader in a mobile company and had more than 20 people in his team. However, after he was arrested in the case, his brother Sadik Sayyed got a call from his company and the person on the other side informed him that he had been terminated from the job. Faqrudin and his friend Gopal Mooponr were arrested after 485 grams of MD drugs and a gun with bullets were recovered from his Matunga Labour Camp residence on November 26.
