Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s partner Gabriella Demetriades, has been arrested by the NCB. Drugs were recovered near Agisilaos in Goa, after which he was arrested by the NCB Mumbai and Goa in a joint operation.

According to the NCB, Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede launched this operation and his aim was to nab the drug peddlers who used to consume and smuggle illegal drugs. NCB official said that Agisilao has been caught twice before in the drugs case.
Wankhede said, “We arrested Agisialos Demetriades and produced him in the court, where he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.”
Actor Arjun Rampal, who is currently filming in London, released a statement on the arrest. In a statement, Rampal said, “I’m as shocked and taken aback as you are with this latest development today. It’s unfortunate that my name is being unnecessarily dragged in every publication, though I have no association whatsoever.”
